Hazelwood Hall is a grand Victorian Mansion sitting in 18.5 acres of woodland and gardens and is located on the edge of the Lancashire village of Silverdale. The Hall was converted into 21 luxury 2 and 3 bedroom apartments by Pringle Homes, with completion in 2009.
Hazelwood Hall was originally built in the mid 1800s as a family residence but since the mid twentieth century it has also been used as a monastery as well as a convent and more recently a nursing home prior to Pringle Homes’ acquisition in early 2006. In the 1920s the hall’s extensive gardens were transformed into a landscape masterpiece by the world renowned landscape architect, Thomas Mawson. Unfortunately, the gardens and the buildings were somewhat neglected for most of the latter years of the 20th century. Pringle Homes painstakingly renovated the gardens to the original Thomas Mawson designs and renovated the buildings to include modern fixtures and fittings but retain characterful charm and Victorian architectural features. The hall is accessed via a private gated entrance.
Quite simply, another Pringle development that we are extremely proud of.
